News From Robb and Penny Krautbauer

In February we adopted a cute Chihuahua by the name of Cheeto from New Mexico Lapdog Rescue. Cheeto was abused in the past so he was very protective of himself at first, but he has now accepted us as his family and rewards us with kisses.

When the weather hit 55, we took a Monday off and play tourist, visiting Jemez Springs, Soda Dam, Battleship Rock and ending the great day with a picnic at Fenton Lake.

Since I am in the healthcare industry, I read a lot of books on Alzheimer’s and Dementia.  But one of my favorites books is a true story about a man who had Alzheimer’s and lived in the mountains with his daughter.  This amazing book is named Tinkertown and if you google Tinkertown Museum in Sandia Park, NM you will be amazed at the life this man lived.

Robb’s Flat Fee Brokerage already has 8 new listings in the first two months of the new year. That is on track with his goal of one new listing client a week.

As for our Real Estate Investing, we bought our 2nd house of the year in the Kansas City, MO area. We are buying these houses with cash then we place a new owner-financed buyer with terms from 10 to 15 years. We are always looking for more private lenders to partner with to help us build our portfolio of cash-flowing assets. We still look forward to “Friday Night – Date Night” playing cards, but now we have a new addition to the game.
