News From Robb and Penny Krautbauer

We hope everyone had a safe New Year!  We are so thankful for our health and happiness and keeping good thoughts for 2021 – as we are sure you all are too!  A Winter Wonderland came our way in December and again in January!  Gave us much-needed moisture and was a beautiful site to see.

On nice days when the temperature is in the 40’s, Robb and I venture down to the Bosque for a long walk or sometimes we will bring our lawn chairs and enjoyed an afternoon by the river, listening to the birds and reflecting on our goals for the months to come.  There will be challenges along the way, but those challenges are what we strive to overcome.

After so many years of rehabbing our investment properties, we decided it was time to do a little rehabbing on our house.  Had some roof leaks repaired and interior painting done.  Now that Junior and Rusty have crossed the bridge to doggie heaven, we decided to also get new carpet and so glad we did.  We just love it!  Six months will probably be all we can handle before we rescue a couple more dogs!

The healthcare facility where I am the Director of Community Relations had our first vaccine clinic for our residents and staff in January, with the next one scheduled for February.  Working with our elderly is what I was put on this earth to do and love every minute of it.

Robb’s Flat Fee Brokerage 1st year ends strong with 25 listings and even a couple of new buyers as clients.  He is looking to double his business this year.  Not bad for a side hustle.  He believes it’s always best to have multiple income streams.

As for our Real Estate Investing, 2020 was a good year with a couple of rehabs in Albuquerque, NM, and 4 new properties in Kansas City, MO and with another, we bought in January.

We look forward to “Friday Night – Date Night” when we enjoy appetizers, cards, and a good movie.

Besides reading “Our Daily Bread”, books we are reading are “Declutter Your Mind by S.J. Scott and Living on the Third River “A Parable of God’s Financial Provision” by Craig Hill.

We hope your February be filled with wonderful new adventures.
